Master Japanese Conjugations & Grammar
An elegant, scientifically optimized spaced repetition system (SRS) for verbs, adjectives, particles, and counters.
The Pain Points of Japanese Grammar
Why standard learning methods fail to build solid conversational confidence.
Conjugation Paralysis
With dozens of polite, casual, positive, negative, and conditional forms, attempting to conjugate verbs and adjectives instantly in live conversation causes constant hesitation.
Particle Guesswork
Particles like が, を, に, and で seem to shift meanings constantly. Rote memorization fails to teach the deep intuitive connection between verbs and their marking particles.
Irregular Sound Mutations
Japanese counters mutate phonetically based on the prefix number (e.g. 1-cho, 3-choo, 8-choo). Tracking these irregular sound shifts (rendaku/sokuon) is incredibly difficult.
Pounding Memory Into Shape
Making traditional mochi requires pounding and folding glutinous rice thousands of times until it transforms from individual grains into a single, cohesive, and resilient mass. Human memory works exactly the same way. We don't build long-term fluency through passive study; we build it by repeatedly pounding (forcing active retrieval at the brink of forgetting) and folding (integrating words into dynamic grammatical contexts). With every spaced repetition drill, Mochi Memory refines your neural connections, turning scattered rules into smooth, intuitive Japanese fluency.
How Mochi Memory Solves It
A specialized Spaced Repetition System (SRS) designed for active grammar recall.
Adaptive Spaced Repetition (FSRS-4.5)
Our algorithm learns your memory decay pattern, showing you conjugation drills at the precise millisecond you are about to forget them, optimizing study time.
Active Context-Driven Keyboard Drills
Practice conjugating and selecting correct particles inside real contextual sentences. Typing active answers forces recall instead of passive reading recognition.
Painless Automated Progression
Start from essential N5 vocabulary and grammar rules. Cards automatically unlock and progress into N4 and N3 levels only as you master preceding tiers.
